I give nothing less than 100% every time. I love my job and this shows in the photos I take and the effort I put in. I am there to document your day where the photos revolve around the wedding and not the other way around. The day is all about you. Photographs of your special day cannot be retaken, so to avoid horror stories make sure that you see your photographer as an essential part of your day, as important as the dress itself!
DO YOU WORK WITH ANOTHER PHOTOGRAPHER?
Yes sometimes. I try and be discreet when I work and guests will soon get fed up having a lens pointing at them wherever they look. I aim to capture the atmosphere of the day and not document every single detail. However, if the logistics of the wedding require another photographer I can call on my assistant Janine or one of many highly skilled photographers to accompany me.
WE ARE BOTH CAMERA SHY - CAN YOU HELP?
Everyone looks so much better when they don’t realise they are being photographed. Just forget about me, enjoy your day and I will get some natural photos. There is no rule that you have to pose, this can help by an engagement shoot first.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO DO THE COUPLE SHOTS?
This is entirely up to you and how artistic you'd like me to be but I would suggest 20 to 60 minutes. You are in control but I would recommend you don’t stay away from your guests for too long.
DO YOU TAKE FORMAL GROUP SHOTS?
I only take the group photos that you want and I do them as swiftly as I can so nobody gets bored. That said, I suggest you task an usher with a guest and photo list so that he can be getting guests rounded up ready for their picture to save time hunting for people.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE GET?
There are no hard and fast rules as each wedding is different. I would guesstimate at anything from 100 images from £395 wedding upwards depending on the package you choose for your wedding. Each photo is edited, hi-res and ready for print. You can even make up your own album and all files can be given to family and friends. All album packages come with a FREE USB memory stick containing all your hi-res files. The top package is usually over 300 images.
WE CAN’T DECIDE WHICH PACKAGE TO GO FOR - ANY SUGGESTIONS?
You do not have to decide what you want until after the wedding. Pay for the Digital Only Package first and only pay for an album when you have decided what you want. You can always add on your package so don't worry.
CAN WE MEET BEFORE THE WEDDING?
Absolutely! In fact for all local weddings, I insist, if we get to know each other it makes you much less nervous. We will go through some posing and maybe even an engagement shoot to practice.
